When Doechii released “Anxiety,” a haunting and powerful reinterpretation of Gotye and Kimbra’s iconic hit “Somebody That I Used to Know,” the internet lit up. The track, which dropped in early 2025, quickly became a viral sensation on TikTok. Within days, it racked up millions of views and shares, turning “Anxiety” into a cultural moment. Fans responded with remixes, duets, interpretations, and reaction videos, all reflecting the raw emotion of the song.

Capitol Records took notice of the momentum and quickly approved an official music video. That’s where we came in.

Working alongside More Avenue Productions and Capitol Records was an incredible experience. From the initial creative discussions to the final day on set, the energy behind this project was intense and inspiring. The vision for “Anxiety” was unapologetically bold: dark, cinematic, and emotionally charged, perfectly reflecting the track’s tone. Our mission was to find the right locations to bring that vision to life.

One of the most memorable parts of the shoot was a full street takeover scene, which became a visual highlight of the video. Closing off an entire block in Los Angeles is no small task. Thanks to the team at Film LA, the permitting and coordination went off without a hitch. Their professionalism made a potentially complex process feel seamless.

We also want to extend our gratitude to two of our Image Locations property owners, who generously allowed their properties—and their streets—to be transformed for the shoot. Their support and flexibility helped bring this ambitious concept to reality.

Projects like this remind us why we’re passionate about what we do. It’s not just about providing great locations. It’s about helping artists and directors bring their boldest ideas to life. We’re proud to have been part of such a compelling and culturally relevant production.

More projects like this are on the horizon, and we can’t wait to share what’s next.
